UMF founding President & CEO – Faisal Ismail, MBA

Sal Ismail, the Founder and President of the University of Mid Florida is a highly esteemed business leader, with an extensive background in business negotiations, management, strategic planning, operations, purchasing, and sales. Graduating from The University of Kansas with a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Accounting and Nixon University with a Master of Business Administration in Management and Finance, President Ismail brings to UMF a wealth of global business and management experience. With his unmatched knowledge and experience, President Ismail is an advocate for business education, and is committed to the success of UMF students. In addition to providing educational opportunities for business professionals, President Ismail is a trusted advisor to business leaders and entrepreneurs across the country.

UMF’s Administration

UMF’s Administration is a collective of individuals responsible for the governance and management of the University of Mid Florida. They are responsible for setting policies, overseeing operations, and managing resources. UMF’s Administration is comprised of various offices, departments, and officials, who all work together to ensure the successful running of the university. Below is a list of some of the key members and administrative units that provide leadership to UMF.

The Office of Student Business Services

The Office of Student Business Services is responsible for the effective management and oversight of the financial and operational aspects of the organization. Responsibilities also include budgeting, fiscal planning, and financial analysis.

Office of the CEO and the President

The Provost is responsible for the supervision of all academic departments and programs. This office is also in charge of developing and implementing innovative strategies to further the mission of the academy.

The Office of the Registrar

The Registrar’s Office is responsible for managing the registration process and ensuring that all academic records are kept up to date. Additionally, this office is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the student database and ensuring that all necessary forms are completed and submitted correctly.

The Office of Student Affairs

The Office of Student Affairs at the University of Mid Florida is an essential component of the school’s mission to provide a safe, supportive, and enriching learning environment for all students. The office is comprised of a team of professionals who are committed to developing and supporting initiatives that promote student success. These initiatives include providing resources and programs that promote academic success, student engagement, and personal growth.

Information Technology

The Department of IT is responsible for providing and maintaining the technology infrastructure and resources for the school and its students. This department is comprised of a team of dedicated professionals with expertise in a variety of areas, including network and systems administration, software development, database management, web design, and technical support. The Department of IT is committed to maintaining the highest standards of technological infrastructure and services, and provides a secure, reliable, and efficient environment for the school’s students and faculty technical support services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

GOVERNANCE

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Responsibility for the organization and governance of University of Mid Florida rests with the board of directors. The members of this board exercise responsibility for the establishment of the basic policies that govern the University and meet on a regular basis to review the implementation of these policies. Board members are primarily concerned with the academic quality of the institution and regularly review data that allow them to ensure that the institution meets the needs of the students and serves the public interest of the communities in which it is located.

ADVISORY BOARDS

The University of Mid Florida has advisory boards, consisting of professionals from the associated fields. The advisory boards meet at least annually to discuss issues such as curriculum and community involvement. They also provide valuable feedback to the program faculty and staff regarding current trends and expectations within their respective professional communities.
